Sunglass Hut - 3 orders cancelled and no explanation
I ordered a pair of Maui Jim glasses as a birthday gift the week before the occasion with "free 2 day shipping" advertised. All three orders were cancelled with no explanation.
One representative told me that the reason was because my phone number is a different area code than my address. I used my office number instead and we re-placed the order. I never got a follow up email on the order so I called back and was told that it was cancelled again and the problem was that my billing address could not be verified through my bank. I have always had the same billing address with my bank so the rep.
assured me she would fix it and replace the order. I called to check in again and that order was cancelled and they do not know why. All 3 orders hit my bank account and now I have no glasses and $900 that I cannot use for 5 business days.
I asked for a supervisor and the representative told me that there were none available but she could schedule me a follow up call within 48 hours. Long story short, I spent 3 days on the phone with sun-glass hut, was charges 3 times and still have no glasses or resolution.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $900.
Sunglass Hut Cons: Poor customer service, Processing errors, No resolution available, No resolution.
